Amazon过去以两季直接预定拿下Julia Roberts主演﹑Sam Esmail开发的新剧《归途 Homecoming》。本剧根据Gimlet Media同名爆热播客改编，其甫一上线就成为了多家电影电视制作方和制片人想要争夺的热门IP。在经过激烈角逐后，Universal Cable Productions拿下改编权并与Sam Esmail联手将其搬上电视荧幕。
