《根》剧情简介
据国外媒体报道，美国历史频道计划重拍ABC电视台的1977年播出的经典美剧《根》，并有望于2014年推出。
黑人作家亚历克斯·哈利于1976年所写的家史小说《根》，讲述了一个从非洲西海岸被白人奴贩子掳到北美当奴隶的黑人，在非洲的自由人生活，以及他和他的子孙在美国奴隶制下的苦难历程，还包括这个家族获得自由后的经历。这本小说曾经在上世纪七十年代引起巨大轰动。
1977年ABC电视台将其改编为电视剧播出，取得了破亿的收视率。该剧曾获得艾美奖、金球奖等许多奖项，还曾在国内电视台播出，对很多人而言都是催泪弹。
据悉，此次历史频道计划将它改编为8小时的迷你剧。目前正在与包括奥斯卡影帝丹泽尔·华盛顿在内的多位美国知名黑人影星洽谈出演。
