艾德（杰西·普莱蒙 Jesse Plemons 饰）是一名在肉铺工作的屠夫，深爱着身为理发师的妻子佩吉（克斯汀·邓斯特 Kirsten Dunst 饰），艾德最大的愿望，就是佩吉能为他生一个可爱的孩子，组成幸福的三人家庭，可是佩吉对此的态度却非常暧昧。
