著名制片人瑞恩·墨菲(《欢乐合唱团》《美国恐怖故事》《美国犯罪故事》等)将为Netflix打造限制剧《怪物：杰夫瑞·达莫故事》(Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story，暂译)。剧集虽以美国连环杀手杰夫瑞·莱昂内尔·达莫为主角，但探讨主题是警方在一系列追查行动中的冷漠和无能，消息人士称剧本中将特别聚焦1991年前后、达莫十几次逃脱成功的实例。
